The Crested Butte area enjoyed an extremely up-beat market during 1999, then again with the 2004 ski area sale. This upward trend towards a solid market with rising prices is continuing in 2007. Crested Butte still remains affordable when compared to other Rocky Mountain resorts/ski towns especially when one considers the direction Crested Butte is heading with the current 250+ million dollar ski area upgrade, Mountaineer Square & Cimarron developments at the base area and the enormous future potential of the North Mountain Village.
